Congratulations to Singapore to winning the bid to host the first ever YOG! The IOC announced on 21 February 2008 that Singapore will host the first Summer YOG in 2010. This major milestone once again put Singapore on the world map. As part of this proud country, St Patrick's School is committed in pushing the cause and contributing to the nation to make YOG 2010 a major success.

Singapore has competed with eight other cities in August 2007 and it was a great accomplishment to the nation to win the hosting rights. This is a platform for us to learn more about the Olympic Movement as well as giving ourselves a chance to inculcate the right values to our younger generation in hope to make them better individuals and in turn lead to the betterment of the world.
